I thought I could combine the two disciplines and test the tensile strength of cotton.
I do love non destructive testing too. One of my favorites is crack detection.

What method do you use?
Why obviously the dye penetrant test…and also a bit of lick and spit. They tend to react quite well to that method and open up nicely!
